After our experience with running the Mickey’s Jingle Jungle 5k last year in November we selected another RunDisney Event which we would like to participate in this year. And as some of you might know these events are in the USA only so this also means we are going to the USA again, to be exactly we’ll be going back to Florida in the autumn. The race we’ll participate in is The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler! This is a nighttime road race that will end at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

While it’s during the Halloween season the characters along the track are mostly villains. Speaking about the track I’ve found the following course from the 2012 run on the web to show that we’ll be running through the Champion Stadium at the  ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and the Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s.

Do you think we make it to the finish onetime and get such a beautiful medal? After the finish we are allowed to join the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash which is a nighttime event in the park which ends at 4:30. I’m curious how long we can stay in the park after running the 16 kilometer.

But before it’s time to put on our shoes we still need to plan and book everything for this vacation. It’s kind of awkward doing things in the ‘wrong’ order but the flight prices are still high and this event only has limited admission so we couldn’t wait with booking this.

We’ve bought our Tokyo Disney Resort entrance tickets!!!!

Since the majority of our vacation overlaps with the Japanese Spring Break we’ve planned to visit Tokyo Disneyland Resort at the beginning of our vacation hoping that it isn’t extremely crowded yet. To enjoy the maximum flexibility we’ve bought 4-day passports and these must be used at consecutive days. In addition to that limitation the first 2 days of the tickets we needed to select one of the two parks to visit, the 3rd and the 4th day we can hop between both parks.

For the first day we’ve planned to visit Tokyo DisneyLand, the park is opened till 10 o’clock but I guess that we are both a bit too tired to stay up that late at the first day but at least we want to see the “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights” to finish the day before easing back to our hotel.

The second day we’ve planned to visit Tokyo DisneySea, the most beautiful Disney Themepark according to Sander. We hope that we are able to ride some of the unique rides in this park as well, according to the calendar the almost all rides are open.
