Day 8: 10 hours of EPCOT…

Emily woke us up a bit early this morning at 5:45 but she decided to go back to sleep again… Needless to say we were ready to go really early today, the destination was EPCOT!

At 8:45 we parked our car, before 9:00 we were in line to meet Joy & Sadness one more time.

After we waived goodbye to them it was time for our first FastPass+ to visit Mickey, Minnie & Goofy! Emily loved Minnie today!

The crowds were really low and after the photo shoots we walked to the Finding Nemo ride. Emily sat in between us as and laughed and smiled the whole ride, she starts to really enjoy rides now!

After Nemo we paid the Siemens VIP Center Base21 a visit. We exited through the ride, which is very exciting! Emily fell a sleep at the 3rd scene hanging around her mothers neck. After the ride we put her in her stroller in which she continued sleeping while I rode Test Track!

Just before I got back Emily woke up! It was also time for our Soarin’ FastPass, Mama went first and got me the rider switch card while Emily and I went to Fountain View to grab a coffee.

After Soarin’ we decided to go to Frozen, the new ride in the Norway Pavilion in World Showcase. Mama waited for about an hour while Emily and I shared bratwurst, brezen en beer in the German pavilion. Ok, let’s be honest Emily didn’t get anything from the beer and I didn’t get anything from the bratwurst! While mama got back she was a ‘little’ bit wet…

We wanted to go again right away but while in line the ride broke down. We got one FastPass+ each for every ride in the parks for the next 3 days! I think that we’ll use it tomorrow on the seven dwarfs  mine train!

After we left the ride Mama wanted to grab something to eat and went to the China pavilion while I went on Soarin’ over the world for the first time. I loved it although I missed the orange smell…

I rushed back to my girls and on my way back I saw that Frozen was open again. We jumped in line and rode it together! Amazing upgrade from the Maelstrom, so much technology inside but definitely not worth more as a 60 minute wait.

On our way back towards the front of the park we found Donald Duck in Mexico.

On the way out of the park Mama went on Test Track! Emily and I looked around until I checked which characters were waiting for a picture with Emily! We still had 15 minutes till Daisy Duck was calling it a day. We rushed over, Emily was jumping up and down in her stroller and mama would join us right after she excited Test Track. As soon as I arrived the attendant told me it was really cool to take a “Sssshhhtt!” I did not know where she was talking about until I looked in the stroller… Daisy loved it, she even gave Emily a gentle kiss!

While our star kept sleeping I went on  a mission to Mars in Mission:Space! After the ride we decided to grab some small bites in World Showcase while Emily was dreaming in her stroller!

While we walked through France she started to wake up and soon we left the park towards the car. On the way back home we went to Kobè for Sushi take-out and soon it was bedtime for the little girl!

Day 7: Rain…

Today we planned another in magic but as we started to get into the car I felt raindrops… we decided to hope for the best!

After getting gas at the nearest Wawa we drove to the Ticket & Transportation Center where we parked at Simba 113! And as if it was magic the sun came out as  soon as we stepped out of he car.

We decided to take the tram instead of taken our usual walk with D A N G E R, shortcut! And we ended up taking the boat as the monorail was not available! In the park our first stop was Aladin and Jasmine.

They suggested us to take a flight on the magic carpet, Emily loved the breeze of wind going through her hair on this humid day.

After we landed we walked towards Fantasyland to get our picture taken with Fairy Godmother but…like magic it started to tonpoor almost out of nothing. We decided to go somewhere dry and get ponchos. I’m pretty sure I always said I will never wear them but with a small child it’s the only way to keep the important stuff dry!

The rain stopped as suddenly as it started and we took our chances to get a picture with Cinderella her stepsisters!

And then we used our first FastPass+ at Winnie the Pooh’s ride. Emily enjoyed it although the darker scenes she was a little bit scared.

We wanted to get on some more rides today as it was not crowded at all but the weather got bad and we decided to leave the park in between showers.

We made it dry to the Ticket & Transportation Center, actually we were still dry when we stepped out of the tram but we were soaked when we arrived at the car! And that was just a 50 meter walk…

Next stop was for coffee at the Starbucks on the 192. Emily was sitting under my vest and slept before we left the parking lot.

After we got our coffee shots we drove towards the Mall at Millenia! Emily loved it as she could walk everywhere she wanted, for her it was a huge adventure.

Soon it was time for a late lunch/early dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Emily had the best choice of the three of us: chicken tenders, french fries, broccoli and apple slices!

The adventure continued while mama was shopping Emily was shopping for mama too. She walked in a store where we shopped earlier this trip and picked out a nice shirt for her mama.
Emily was tired from all the action and soon slept again. On our way back we made a short stop at the nearest Walmart until we played at and around the villa until she was tired!
