Day 16: Around the world…

What an amazing night, Emily slept really well. The plan was starting easy with a visit to the Mall at Millenia to pickup clothes Daniëlle put on hold from Lilly Pulitzer.

Not a real surprise we found even more today as they had some new items. They even got an awesome jumpsuit and a beautiful dress for Emily this time. Emily picked the jumpsuit herself and said “I try” and walked to a dressing room. Too funny and she figured out where he cupcakes where and whom to ask for one! She getting such a big girl lately!

After a quick lunch in the food court we drove back to the townhouse where Emily went straight to bed. And we started working on the first suitcase already…

Emily woke up around 3:15pm and we went to Epcot for some fun. We didn’t had too many plans but we wanted to see Illuminations!

First stop The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Emily loved the extremely long waiting line and the ride even more. The ride went like this Nema (Nemo), Dory, Papa van Nemi (Marlin), Dory, Nemi (Nemo), Dory, Nemo, Nemi, Dory, Dory, Papa van Nemi, Papa van Nema, Papa van Nima, Dory, Nima, Nemi until we got of the ride she shouted Bye Dory, Bye Nema, Bye Papa van Nima!

Next stop was Figment, a ride hosted by Figment all about a imagination. Emily sat on her own and got a little scared during the dark scenes where she moved a little closer to Mama.

After Figment it was time for Spaceship Earth still with Siemens signs, most likely the last trip that we’ll see those up. On our way there we got our picture taken with Spaceship Earth in the background, Emily is wearing her new jumpersuit!

Here our ways split for a little while I went to ride the new Mission:Space. For the first time ever the green track, no wait, as this was a new experience a flight over earth. Very well done this tiny update. For another day I got a rider switch which I’ll use on the orange track (wait time typically 45 minutes).

Done with my flight over earth I rushed over to the other side of future world where my two girls were having dinner. Daniëlle went towards Soarin’ using the rider switch pass we got earlier this trip for her flight over the world. As soon as mama was gone Emily decided dinner was over and we needed to go for “a walk”. I knew where to go, the Odyssey for a beer flight. On our way over there we got a picture together. As soon as I had it ordered she wanted to go the the restroom…so I drank my flight in record time.

We regrouped near the restroom and together we went towards Norway in World Showcase. Only because Emily can’t stop talking about Elsa and Anna from Frozen. We did everything to avoid that but on the cruise the nursery staff showed her the movie a couple times… The wait was very short and Emily was very shy with Elsa but she felt really comfortable with Anna. They looked at the flowers, sat on the floor hugged, high five‘d and Anna almost got a kiss…

Next stop Germany for pretzels and beer. Emily got to colour a Duffy in the Kidcot station and she danced on German music again. She even got me dancing this time…crazy girl.

We found that it was still pretty quiet along the lagoon and Danielle found out that Illuminations wasn’t at 9pm but at 10pm. That explained a lot… we decided to continue walking around the world and see if there was a long wait at the character spots. For Mickey and friends I got us in the FastPass line although our passes were actually expired, but to be honest I think it was more the Emily factor which got us in.

In the mean time our FastPass for Frozen the ride was valid. Since it was late we split up, mama went back to Norway to ride it once and get a rider switch we can use on Monday when we plan to got to Epcot again. Emily and I would walk around Future World and we would meet up in the car.

Emily wanted to see if Joy was there and we were lucky as she and Sadness were there without a line! We had so much fun meeting them, Emily put stickers everywhere.

Next up was Baymax was our last action item of the day before we walked back to the car. Mama just got the rider switch and soon we got a text message that she got wet on the ride.

At 10:30 we got home Emily went straight to bed and we are not far of either. I just need to finish up this blog.

Day 15: Taking it easy…

The medication seems to work on Emily, she woke up happy and excited. Totally different as yesterday. But we still decided to take it more easy as we had in mind, but we still wanted to go outside. With the free parking perk of our Annual Passes we decided d to get a coffee at the Trolley Car Café in Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s. This is actually a Starbucks, just some of the pastries are different.

While we drinking our coffee at a bench on Sunset Boulevard Emily got attention from some of the Citizens of Hollywood. She loved it as they were driving an old car, they knew Princess Sofia and best off all they had a funny sounding horn in there old timer.

Since Emily was having fund we decided to go and see a show Emily hasn’t seen before, the Beauty and the Beast musical. I remember seeing this show during our first Walt Disney World visit in 2008, we loved it.

We had great seats I in the front section of the theatre and as soon as the show started Emily was amazed, she watched the show with open mouth and was clapping with the rest of the audience. When Chip (the little teacup) came on stages she shouted his name (Cheap), instantly she got attention from the 10 people around us.

Throughout the whole show they were watching her. When the fight in the castle took place some of them were paying more attention tomEmily as the show. And Emily didn’t disappoint, when the Beast got stabbed by Gaston she shouted really loud “Beast die”, her personal audience bursted out in laughing.

During the curtain call all the actors came to show and Emily was naming them all in her own unique 2-year old way Cheap, Mama van Cheap (Mrs. Potts), Cheap, Bellie, Cheap, Beast (to the prince), Cheap and Cheap the others we still need to practice I guess.

When the show was over the audience told us they loved watching Emily and they were afraid that she would cry, they all agreed that we should keep her this way. I think we should too as this was a moment we should not never forget. I hope we get to see Nemo the Musical in Animal Kingdom later this trip too as she loves Nemo, Dory and Papa Nemo…

After the show we bought 2 new Christmas Tree ornaments for our Disney themed Christmas tree and the e left towards the townhouse. We decided to have lunch at Denny’s but this wasn’t a success, there was no taste to the food at all. At least we weren’t hungry anymore.

Back home Emily went straight to bed, she slept 4,5 hours! Danielle did some laundry and I planned on writing the blog but fell a sleep too…that’s why there was no blog, I’m sorry I hope you can forgive me…

After her afternoon nap we kept Emily busy with colouring and playing with some toys before it was time for her bath and bed. While Emily was sleeping I went to the Super Target for some groceries. And soon it was time for bed!
