Our Family life...

Day 3: Boca Raton, FL – Port of Miami, FL

The jetleg this morning was het little better than yesterday but we still woke up pretty early. After Sander got us some breakfast from a close by Starbucks we packed all our stuff together and checked out of this hotel.

After we got some gas we were on our way to Miami, the Port of Miami to be exact. It was about an hour drive over the I95 followed by the I395 in the direction of South Beach. There was lots of traffic but we took the express lanes which was a lot faster. After we drove through the tunnel close to the Port we saw the Disney Magic.

We parked our car in parking garage C right on the other side of the street of terminal C. So it was like a 15 second walk from the garage to the terminal. Very convenient.

After we went through security we took pictures with both Mickey and Minnie and after that our boarding group (number 4) was called so it was our turn to board the ship.

We walked around a little bit and decided to get lunch at Lumieres. Here we saw Mizar, he was one of the service we had on our last cruise on the Disney Magic.

Next stop was the Kids Clubs. We registered Emily and took a look around and guess who came to visit….. Rapunzel and Tiana. They played games drew nice pictures. We walked around the pool deck and enjoyed the nice Florida weather.

At 1:30 pm we were able to go to our stateroom to get rid of our backpacks and a little later we decided to take a short nap before the mandatory safety drill started followed by the Sail-a-wave party a deck 9 which was so much fun.

Tonight we had dinner at Rapunzel’s Royal Table where we celebrated her Birthday. After dinner we went shopping, took some pictures and went back to our stateroom because we were all so tire.

Tomorrow will be our first port-of-Call of this cruise and it will be Key West and we’re really looking forward to it.
