Day 5: Hollywood Studios starring Emily…
After Emily discussed it with her pal Dumbo at 3:00 am at night we all agreed this morning to go to the Hollywood Studios to celebrate Emily’s 0,5 birthday.
We arrived at the parking lot around 9:15 am and after we walked to the entrance and went through security we started our day with a Starbucks.
The first ride we did was Rock ‘n Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. Sander went through the single rider line and go a rider switch pass for me so after he got back I could enter through the Fast Pass line. After the stretcher brought me back from the Aerosmith concert it was time for our Fast Pass for the Hollywood Tower of Terror. Now you can get besides the onride picture also a little movie from your ride. While we both went on this ride, Emily enjoyed her fruit snack.
Now it was time for Emily to do get first ride in the Hollywood Studios. We decided to do the Great Movie Ride, the wait time was only 20 minutes. As we waited in line Emily was flirting with the Cast Members and the other people waiting in line with us. She was very impressed by everything she saw while we were waiting and on the ride…
On ride movie: Danielle in the Tower of Terror
File size 11MB, watch only with WiFi!
After lunch Sander did Star Tours while Emily and I watched the Jedi Training. Slowly we walked towards the exit because it was getting cloudy and they predicted rain and thunderstorms for the afternoon. We took a quick Photopass on our way out and as we walked to the car it started to rain. In our way home Emily fell asleep in the car. Luckily it stopped raining when we got home so we were able to put Emily in her crib and she slept as if nothing happened.
The rest of the afternoon and evening we relaxed at the villa. Only Sander went to the supermarket and a 7eleven to get gas for the barbecue.
Day 4: Taking it easy…
After two days in the park the royal servants decided that today would be a bit less exciting as the last days. There was no meeting with “Pluis” at 5:00am tonight. Because they moved it forward to 3:00am sharp…after 30 minutes everything was quiet and we were all sleeping again.
At 8:00am the party started with some playtime in the big bed and a light breakfast for Emily. At 9:15 she took her beauty nap and mama and papa had a strawberry breakfast at the pool in the sun (isn’t this annoying to read?). 10:45am we heard someone babbling through the baby monitor and we decided that it was pooltime.
The pool was a bit fresh in the beginning but soon mama and Emily enjoyed the water. We did some of the dance routines we learned at the Waterbabies swimming lessons. And not to forget we did the Emily, Ready, Go under water exercise. Or better to say mama did this for the very first time with Emily…the hardest part was the words I mean it could be lots of variants Ready, Emily, Go or Go, Ready, Emily, Go, or ok I guess you get my point. The underwater part itself was amazing.
After the Pool fun we went for some shopping at the Mall at Millenia where we got our little one some sunglasses. She had issues while facing the sun in her stroller and I think she wore them like a rockstar..
From there we drove back home and went for groceries to the Publix. And at home we prepared for the evening.
We got invited to a Siemens evening about 20 minutes from where we stayed and enjoyed some meat, beer and other food. Emily enjoyed all the people around and even got some sleep on mama’s shoulder.
