Day 10: Freezing…
Elsa escaped from her ride in EPCOT I guess, it was ‘freezing’ today with only 13 degrees Celsius! We were all a little bit tired too and this we decided to change things up today aka no Disney today!
We started with watching a little bit of Inside Out together and around 10 o’clock we left and stopped for a coffee on our way to the Orlando Premium Outlets in Lake Buena Vista! We shopped at Tommy Hilfiger, Toys’R’us and 7 for all mankind before we left. Emily enjoyed walking around the mall more as shopping.
Done with the shopping everyone was hungry and we decided to drive to the BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse! But the moment we drove on the parking lot someone her eyes closed…
No problem at all we changed course to the Victoria’s Hallmark Gold Crown store in Clermont, it was a 45 minutes drive from the BJ’s. Emily was still sleeping while we got there and thus only I went inde and we were lucky they still had the Inside Out ornament! I found also one form Cinderella’s castle and Doc McStuffins!
When I got back to the car Emily was still sleeping, we went to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts for a short pit stop before we drove back! And there was a nice view too…

Wait a moment, back? Yes we we’re still hungry and we both wanted to eat at the BJ’s! Emily woke up just before we arrived and after having slept for over 2 hours in the car, a record!
We enjoyed a the late lunch but dessert we got from Twistee Treat! Mama ordered a Milkshake and Emily a Twistee with Orange & Banana taste to share with me!
As soon as the dessert was gone we went back home for some neighborhood exploring and indoor playtime!
Day 9: Cold & warm…
Let’s start with a picture we did not yet receive in our memory maker before I finished the blog, Emily’s first ever ontide photo! Made in the Frozen ride while going downhill! Not a single cry…

It’s winter in Florida, this morning it was only 15 degrees Celsius! We left towards Magic Kingdom where we had some FastPasses. The crowds were low looking at the really empty parking lot!
We took the monorail towards the Magic Kingdom and thus we thought we would be there really early! But no it took us almost a hour to get to the entrance, Walt Disney World is testing a new driverless operating system on the Monorail and clearly it isn’t working well enough yet.
Finally in the parks we started with Pirates of the Caribbean! We expected Emily to be fine but she was a little bit scared at the big drop, nothing a hug from mamma could not solve but still a bit unexpected.
After we left the ride it was already 25 degrees Celsius! Emily decided to walk to the Princess Fairytale Hall in Fantasyland ok her own to get a picture with Rapunzel and Tiana! Emily loved them both!

Afterwards we walked towards the Storybook Circus to meet with Daisy, Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck! I think that she liked Daisy most with Minnie as a closed second!

After the photo moment we walked towards Haunted Mansion! Here Emily fell a sleep at mamma’s shoulder for a power nap!
After Emily woke up we went back to the car with the boat! After we left we went to get groceries at the Publix near Celebration before we had steak and sausages from the BBQ.
After the BBQ it was time for a little bit of fun in and around the pool.
The evening ended with a visit to a Hallmark store in the hopes they had three ornaments for the Christmas tree!
- Dumbo and his mother
- Princess Sofia the First
- Joy & Sadness
They had the first two but unfortunately not the Inside Out one! We’ll have to keep on looking.
After the ornaments shopping we went with the car to the Loop for ice-cream at the Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop.
After having finished our ice we drove back to the villa before Emily and I started working on the blog!
Good night!
