Day 7: Port of Miami, FL – Naples – Marco Island, FL
A sad day today as we were leaving the Disney Magic today.

The alarms went off early and after a quick shower and grabbing our final stuff it’s was off to Animators Pallet for our final breakfast together with Chris, Becka and Sofie. We enjoyed breakfast and after that said goodbye to our wonderful servers Mizar and Mia. They were amazing.
It took a bit before our group (purple Minnie) was able to debark the ship. But once we did we quickly got our suitcases and went through customs.
The following picture was taken walking of the ship, it is probably the most heartbreaking one of the whole cruise, in just 4 days from not speaking to each other to being almost inseparable!

Then it was really time for us to say goodbye to Becka, Chris and Sophie as they went to the airport to fly back home and we went to get our car from parking garage C. It was a little chaotic to leave the port but once we were out everything was fine.

We drove into the direction of the Everglades where we never were before. We booked ourselves an airboat ride at Everglades City at 3:15 pm so we had plenty of time to go to our hotel first.
Unfortunately our room was not ready yet so we went for some lunch at BurgerFi. Their burgers were delicious and the chocolate milkshake amazing.

Around 14:30 we arrived at the address for the Airboat tour and a little later we were allowed to go on Steve’s airboat.

First we saw some birds than a manatee, then even a dolphin and at the end an alligator. Emily liked the parts where we raced over the water best.
When the ride was over we left the Everglades and drove back to the hotel. Our room was finally ready. We got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite.
We went for dinner at an Asian place called Pei Wei close by before we called it a day.
